Don't you get it? Here in this country, women are responsible not only for their own behavior but also for our behavior. It's a heavy burden, but it comes with many benefits, like 70 cents-on-the dollar "equal pay" and blaming victims for being sexually harassed or assaulted. By the way, expecting the Washington Post of the last 10-15 years to raise a gender equity issue would be, let's say, a speculative or very "hopeful" gesture. The Post - not as crazy as the Moonie Times, but operating with many of the same culturally repressed and reactionary assumptions.
